This week on Cartridge Blowers, we play Advergames! Volkswagen wants you to be a beetle when we would rather be a beetleborg in Beetle Adventure Racing! Nikki loves bullets and ramen in Persona 5 Royal, and Cody bows to the wheat squares in Chex Quest Remastered.
This week, it’s little known fighting games! Nikki kills our favorite new character of 2021, Robot Marshmallow Cop, in Flying Dragon. Cody does a little dance and is a cutie patootie in Cho Aniki, and Matt will play more of this game over his aged corpse in Battle Construction Vehicles!
In episode 187, it’s Nick Arcade Challenge Week again! That’s right, it’s another edition of our yearly tradition where we submit challenges to each other along with the help of our audience to see how well we can be at video gaming! We have speed, weird controller positions, game genie codes, pacifism, and more!
This week we play the worst games ever. Matt is a magical girl who loves factory in Vroom in the Night Sky. Nikki goes to the extreme with Extreme Sports with the Berenstain Bears, and Cody is a blue Ninja (only because he’s sad) in Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero!
This week we play video games featuring failed video game mascots. Matt rocks with the bigity Buck Bumble in Buck Bumble. Cody shows no love for the glove in Glover, and Nikki is a lizard man in Gex: Enter the Gecko!
This week we play video games you have probably never heard of! Nikki takes on Sex-Dungeon Magneto in Mace: The Dark Age. Watch a shark fight an alligator in Utah, because that’s apparently a thing, when Cody plays Animelee. Finally, Matt proves Hawk is unmanly, but we already knew that, in Best of Best!
This week we play games by Ocean Software. Nikki gets killed by sharks, spears, falling, and more in Lethal Weapon. Matt fights Ninja to the death, and now he’ll get to stream Fortnite with Drake, in Fighter’s Destiny. Finally, Cody let’s us see Walter Matthau again in Dennis the Menace.
This week, we pick each other’s games! Matt talks to people in space in that wonderful conversation simulator Rex Rocket! Cody has to be hands on to peer into the gaping hole that is Ninjabread Man! And Nikki does the helicopter with her worm head which in Earthworm Jim 3D!
This week we hack the planet with Rom hacks! Matt fights a piranha plant and a camera in Super Mario 64: Last Impact! Nikki trains for a week to not die which I guess is what we all do 24/7 in Kaizo Mario Bros 3! And Cody got greedy and played two games: First, Bulbasaur calls him a bitch in Pokemon Go: GTA Edition and then Sonic makes him his bitch in Robotnik’s Creature Capture!
This week we celebrate our super sized episode 100 by going over the best characters, music, companies, consoles and video games as voted by you. We also play games that mean something special to our viewers.
