This week on Cartridge Blowers we take a look at games that were only released in Japan – until they weren’t! Matt plays as an evil version of a hero of justice which has never happened in any media before in Rockman and Forte! It’s dishonorable to jump into a luchador’s mouth unless you do a triple moonsault off the top rope, but Cody does it anyway in Doki Doki Panic! And Nikki introduces us to Pete and Danny, forever my OTP, in The Firemen.
This week on Cartridge Blowers, we play CLONES! Nikki heard about this game via an AOL Keyword so hit her up on ICQ for a review, in Super Tux! Cody wraps up the world in his balls which is not a gag and actually happens, in The Wonderful End of the World! And Matt doesn’t know what making mega means but he make much mega in Mega Maker!
It is Betas and Prototypes Week, so here is what lays on the docket. Cody, we heard you like fatalities so we put some fatalities in your fatality so you can fatality while you fatality in the Beta of Mortal Kombat II. Matt, you’re going to beat the robot masters and get their weapons but all the robot masters are dead so… there’s that… in Rockman 7 Sampler. And Nikki, you’re gonna turn into a duck, a hammer, and a fat fetus with a fist dick in Jelly Boy!
This week we indulge our guilty pleasures. Nikki battles consumerism the only way she knows how – by kicking – in Christmas Shopping Simulator 2: Black Friday! Cody eats a fruit and hits a wall and that’s not very fun at all in Pac-Man World Rally! And Matt has to stop Dr. Wiwy, so go get da eviw enewgy Megaman in Megaman 8!
This week we play ROMHACKS! Cody saves the cheerleader to save the next identical cheerleader in Oh No! More Zombies Ate My Neighbors, Nikki finds out just how easy it is to ruin Mario Kart in Super Mario Kart: SYS85 Edition or something, and Matt gets his Super chocolate in his Mega peanut butter in Rockman 3: The Last of the Mushroom Kingdom?!
This week we picked each others poisons and now we wish we had actually been poisoned. Matt throws hamburgers but the fairies won’t go away in Labyrinth, Cody has his cleavage on full display in Plumbers Don't Wear Ties, and Nikki tries to finally redeem herself some 69 episodes later in Mega Man 4.
This week we learn that Sonic and friends are getting creepy in Sonic Boom. Then we take on another Nick Arcade Challenge week! Can Cody become the richest duck in the world?
