This week, our friend Amber chooses our poison. Matt learns how to make friends and influence people with strategic cabinet placement in Sims 4. Cody makes an anthropomorphic people zoo in RollerCoaster Tycoon, and Nikki tries to make a teacher cry by destroying their loved ones’ grave in Stardew Valley.
This week it’s Halloween games! Cody stabs hooligans in Master of Darkness. Nikki is a disgusting tasteless piece of trash and also her game has a candy corn in it in Costume Quest 2. Lastly, Matt crushes ghouls as an old white guy in Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon.
Spoiler Alert! This week we play the last levels of games! Matt is a jerk and also a Goose in Untitled Goose Game. Nikki kills her dad, I guess, in Final Fantasy X, and Cody is a dummy in The Incredible Crash Dummies.
This week it’s anime games! Nikki wants the supreme court to recognize spirit unions in Shaman King: Power of Spirit. Cody uses the ultimate strategy (passwords) in Akira, and Matt is five pretty girls in Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon!
This week we play video games featuring failed video game mascots. Matt rocks with the bigity Buck Bumble in Buck Bumble. Cody shows no love for the glove in Glover, and Nikki is a lizard man in Gex: Enter the Gecko!
This week we play games together! Watch as we blow up in Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes! Then we rap, pit people against one another, and sell stupid objects in Jackbox Party Pack 5! Finally we dress up like animals and try to ruin each other’s platforming prowess in Ultimate Chicken Horse!
This week we play Simpsons games! Matt gets molested by Smithers in Bart’s House of Weirdness. Nikki shoves it, and honestly that’s rude, in Simpsons Skateboarding. Lastly, Cody gets a hole in fun, in Itchy and Scratchy: Miniature Golf Madness.
This week we play games featuring our names! Cody uses a knife to carve up a roller blader, just like I’m sure most adults in 1991 would’ve loved to do, in Street Fighter 4! Matt figures out whether justice is blind or not – spoiler, it is – in Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects! And Nikki solves a crime using only a cell phone and some bananas in Phoenix Wright: Justice for All!
This week we play western games! Nikki slams her face into a cactus in Cowboy Kid, Cody fights video games’ official 10,000th giant spider battle in Gunman Clive 2, and Matt gets revenge for his dead wife and my giant gorilla arms in Outlaws.
This week we play games by LJN. Matt gets kicked to death, just like his grandma always said he would if he didn’t stay in school, in the Karate Kid. He also drowns a cat in the ocean, just like his grandma also said he would, in T&C Surf Designs! Cody sends a gorilla on a quest for white imperialism in T&C Surf Designs 2: Thrilla’s Surfari! And Nikki TRIES TO SAVE ILLYANA FROM MEAT CONTINENT in the Uncanny X-Men! All this and Super Mario Maker 2.
