What is Your Shaolin Style?

Be warned, this quiz is slightly reading-intensive. If you have an aversion to practicing your literacy, just don't take it. Also, this is my first quiz -- Thanks, and enjoy!

Early one morning, while strolling through the woods, you encounter a Shaolin student of a rival school. In order to defend your honor, you have no choice but to duel him. Before the match begins, which of these epithets (threats) would you use?

"You'll not die in one piece!"
"Your style is strong, but my new technique is unstoppable."
"I am ready. Attack me any way you choose."
"I hope you slept well... because now you die."
"Hey, look over there, isn't that your Sifu in drag?" (Prepare for sucker punch)
"Very well... if we must do battle, then let us get it over with swiftly."
"..." (Silence)
(In a quiet, eerily monotone voice) "Surely I am no match for you, oh mighty one... you obviously possess great skill."
"Ah, this will be the perfect chance to test how well my training has come along."

With the posing and epithets out of the way, the fight is about to begin. What course of action do you choose?

Close the distance between your opponent and yourself as quickly as possible, so you can deliver the first strike.
Stand motionless, watching your opponent attentively until he makes the first move.
Begin circling your opponent, attempting to confuse him with unpredictable hand motions.
Turn your back on your opponent, then sit down and pretend to ignore him.
Kick some dirt into your opponent's face and attempt to strike while he is blinded.
Adopt a defensive stance, then gesture for your opponent to "Bring it on."
Demonstrate your power by leaving a crater in a nearby tree with your fist, then raise your eyebrow as if to ask, "Are you sure you are ready to fight me?"
Enjoy the momentary lull by admiring the beauty of your surroundings. Ah, the forest is such a lovely place!
Fall into a deep concentration, breathing slowly and deliberately as you attune your chi.

The combat has heatedly ensued, and soon your opponent slips up, leaving you with an opening to attack. What do you do?

Tap him playfully, just to let him know he screwed up.
Attempt to cripple or kill him with a single, well-focused strike.
Watch and wait. This opponent is unfamiliar, and it might be a trap.
Strike at the opening with a rapid series of light blows to wear him down.
Feign an attack toward the opening, then quickly duck behind your foe to disorient him even further.
Let it slide. After all, if he made a mistake this early in the fight, it's not like I'm in any danger of losing.

Your opponent is quicker than he let on, and you find he has countered one of your attacks with a painful nerve strike... how do you react?

Ignore the pain and follow through with the attack using sheer force of will.
Take a step back, readying your defenses in case he attempts a follow-up attack.
Scream, "OUUUUCH!! Why did you do that?!" Then attempt to get in a cheap shot.
Laugh hysterically, pretending it didn't hurt at all.
Turn with the blow, absorbing some of the impact and gathering momentum for a reversal.
Compliment him on a job well-done, then shake off the pain and resume your combat stance.

Your opponent carelessly broadcasts his next punch, giving you time to mount a counterattack. What will you do?

Tighten your muscles and absorb the blow, you can't be bothered to slow down your attacks for a countermove.
Deftly avoid the punch, perhaps tripping him in the process. Let him wear himself out.
Pay him back for that nerve strike with one of your own.
Catch his fist in your hand, and attempt to crush it.
Hang back and avoid the blow, but watch carefully in case he's only feigning.
Let his fist fly past your head, and then attempt throw him or break his arm with grapples.
Kick his incoming fist out of the way, followed by a spinning backfist to his face.
Yell, "Oh, you're SCREWED now!!" In an attempt to fluster him enough so that he aborts the attack and becomes off-balance.
Your legs are longer than his arms... it only makes sense to plant a foot squarely in his face to make sure that punch of his never reaches its target.

Long into the fight, you and your opponent are both battered and weary, but he is obviously in worse shape than you, and you can tell that his spirit is broken. What do you do?

Continue pressing the attack even though you're slightly winded, he'll be easily overwhelmed and defeated this way.
Ask him if he wants to call it a draw. After all, you don't care about winning, you were only having fun.
Adopt a defensive stance, using only minimal-effort counterattacks and conserving your energy until he gives up.
Laugh warmly, and offer to shake his hand... and if he accepts, break his arm.
Back up and give him a few moments' rest... fighting a tired enemy isn't a very good test of your skills.
Move in for the kill... you've been saving your energy for this moment since the fight began.
